Today I wanna share with you a Best Japanese Drama that I love recently.

『おカネの切れ目が恋のはじまり』”Love will begin when money ends” with short form of 「カネ恋」。

This is a new Japanese Drama that started in September 2020. The setting of the drama is summer of 鎌倉(Kamakura) which is located in 神奈川県(Kanagawa, Japan). Theme of this drama is “Money”. Main characters of this drama is 松岡茉優(Matsuoka Mayu) and 三浦春馬(Haruma Miura).

In this story, Reiko(松岡茉優) is a accountant in finance department of a toy company. She enjoys her minimalist life and takes very good care of money. On the other hand, Keita(三浦春馬) is the boss’s son of that toy company. As a prince of the company, Keita doesn’t have any money concept and is always wasting money. One day, Keita’s father stops his pocket money and throws him off from this apartment. Keita being transferred  to the finance department for learning money concepts. His leader is Reiko. Reiko’s house is a small resort, and Keita moves into that resort and stays together with Reiko. Reiko teaches Keita all the money concept and life value. At the beginning, Reiko love Ken(三浦翔平) 15 years. However, Ken rejects her love. After that, she cuts her hair and starts to face Keita.They are facing many problems and become closer to each other. Their love story begins.

According to Reiko, the uses of money got 3 categories:

1)消費 (Spending)

2)浪費 (Wasting)

3)投資 (Investment)

Reiko asks Keita to record down all the expenses in a little yellow notebook, and categorises every expense to each category above.  I’m so happy that I can also learn money concepts together with 「カネ恋」🤓

This is the last drama from Haruma Miura, and this drama has only 4 episodes. This is because Haruma died on 18th July 2020, when they only completed 4 episodes. Actually, I’m very sad about his death. I have followed his dramas and movies for more than 10 years. He was a very pure person, so we love him very much. From his famous movie”koisora”(恋空) until now, he give us many wonderful memories with his drama. Thank you Haruma!
